Week 17 Masterkey Experience

Becoming a self directed champion

I am natures greatest miracle!  I give myself permission to be happy and the courage to take the hero’s journey.  I really loved the clip about Aimee Mullins and her journey.  It was so cool how she had the children come in without any influence from the adults so they can explore on their own for a few minutes.  She had with her, for the kids to explore, some of her prosthetic legs.  She talked about how kids are naturally curious about what they don’t know and learn to be frightened of differences when an adult influences them to behave that way. Wow!  Her point of being there was so to have the children look and explore.    “It is in our humanity and all the potential within it that makes us beautiful” Aimee Mullins

I am natures greatest miracle.  I have been given eyes to see and a mind to think and now I know a great secret of life for I perceive, at last, that all my problems, discouragements, and heartaches are, in truth, great opportunities in disguise.  Og scroll IV

Aimee’s purpose is service driven for the greater good.  Inside all of us is to be of service too!

Week 16 Masterkey Experience

Kindness Everywhere!

This week we were all part of a mastermind alliance spreading kindness all over the world!  Now into the second week of our “makeover” the virtue is kindness.  What an amazing thing when you think about it, especially with all that is going on in the world today.  As a group masterminding all with the same purpose has incredible power!  We witnessed what a true mastermind is all about and what can happen.  More smiles, laughter, love and new friendships.  I see kindness more and more everywhere I go, and it has brought the best out in me.  It’s the easiest thing to do, lifts people up, and doesn’t cost anything.  The most valuable things in life are free.  Let’s be the light and lift someone up today! 🙂

Week 15 Masterkey Experience

For our lesson last week we a had movie review night.  There were several movies to pick from and I chose “Door To Door.” A true story about a gentleman named Bill Porter.  We were to identify and link similarities and how it relates to what we are learning with the #masterkeyexperience.   Bill was born with cerebral palsy which made it difficult for him to find employment and do some of the things that most people take for granted, like buttoning his shirts, tying his shoes and putting on a tie.  His mother, whom he lived with, was there to help with those little things and much more.  They had each other.  Bill had a definite major purpose of being a salesman.  His mom was helping him get ready for his first interview and her advice to him was to have patience and persistence!  Initially he got turned down for the job, but with persistence he convinced the Watkins Incorporated to give him a door to door sales position.  He actually talked the boss into giving him the worst route and said “What do you have to lose”?  He had his mom drop him off in the morning, he walked the entire route, and always ended the day with a positive.  Greeting each day and each person with love in his heart.  He was patient and kind no matter what came his way.  He always had a plan.  When his mother became ill with dementia he created a mastermind alliance with some of the local hotel staff.  They helped him with his buttons, tie and shoes and in return he entertained them with his stories and jokes.  Bills disability did not hold him back from what what he desired.  He knew what needed to be done and he did it! He gained the trust of his customers and his colleagues and eventually was awarded top salesman of the company.  This was an amazing story about Bill’s life, he spent his life doing what he loved and being the light everywhere he went.  His success was far more than achieving top salesman, it was that he brought a whole community together.  🙂 Be the love!

Week 14 My Master Key Experience

Be the love!

While sitting with my dad recently he said to me that his job as a husband, along with himself, is to make sure his wife gets to heaven.  I thought that was so beautiful!  Throughout my life he has shown by example what is truly important to him, his faith in God.   I have always admired that about him.  Listening to Mark explain the story, Tower of Babel on this weeks video, I couldn’t help but think of my dad.  He is a true reflection of his thoughts!   Haanel 14-17 In mental, as in natural science, experiments are being made and each discovery lifts man one step higher toward his positive goal.  We find that every man is a reflection of the thought he has entertained during his lifetime.  This is stamped on his face, his form, his character, his environment.

I am forever grateful my parents sent me to a catholic school for eight years.  Although, what I have learned from my father, has never been taught at a school. I am so thankful to Mark, Davene and the guides for bringing it together even more for me.  Since the beginning of this life changing journey with the #mkmma my dad has been my biggest cheerleader.  He swears he has never heard of Charles Haanel and The Master Key System, but he sure has The Key!  His light shines everywhere he goes!

Bring the Love~

Week 13

I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy!

I love Luc’s story about climbing and how it relates to our Hero’s Journey.  I have felt like I was staring up at a huge mountain, asking myself,  Can I Do This?  Is this too big for me? There have been many things that I have started that I didn’t follow through with.  I always had an excuse as to why, and I believed it too!  It’s so exhausting!  My old blueprint tries over and over to take hold of me still, thankfully, since starting MKMMA in September, I have learned to form GOOD habits.  I am hanging on to that rope and not letting go, for I know this is huge and I can do this!  I promise to treat my future self the way I want to be treated now.  Quitting was never an option!  I always keep my promises!

Week 12 MKE

A Special Gift!

Part 12-4 of the Master Key’s “The only way to keep from going backward is to keep going forward. Eternal vigilance is the price of success. There are three steps and each one is absolutely essential. You must first have the knowledge of your power; second , the courage to dare; third, the faith to do.”

Looking in the mirror and repeating my one sentence dmp for 50 minutes?  Did I hear Mark right?  At the beginning of it, I did feel a bit silly, mostly because it was hard to believe what I was saying to myself was true, and then all of the sudden the magic happened.  Totally unexpected, half way through the exercise, I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, so I did both! lol.  It was truly amazing!  I was engulfed in emotion and I had the belief in me! Thank you! I can be what I will to be..

Love to all,

Amy

Week 11 Master Keys

Persistence!  One step at a time..

Week 11 webcast was amazing!  I am loving scroll three, I get a boost of confidence every time I read it.  It’s exciting to see the difference in my habits these last several months.  Although, I have not been 100% consistent,  I am so happy with the difference in myself.  The Law of Growth at work!  I have never focused on my plan like I have since the start of #masterkeyexperience

As Og says in scroll 3 “The prizes of life are at the end of each journey, not near the beginning; and it is not given to me to know how many steps are necessary in order to reach my goal.  Failure I may still encounter at the thousandth step, yet success hides behind the next bend in the road.  Never will I know how close it is unless I turn the corner”.   One foot in front of the other!

Week 10

Grateful

I am so grateful to Mark and Davene for spending time with us on Sunday.  After the busy week I was anxious to get back to class, it was eye opening and I learned so much!  I was having difficulty keeping up and feeling discouraged with myself.   Am I refusing to give up what I no longer need by refusing the call?  Could it really be the fear of the unknown?  Wow!  I finally heard it.  I can be what I will to be!  My future self is going to be amazing, what’s there to be afraid of?  The one thing I know, is that I will not give up on improving the quality of my life to better serve the people around me.   My heart is talking and I am listening!  Yes I am!

Week 9

Love

As I reflect back on our Thanksgiving day my heart is bursting with love.  Surrounded by loved ones who traveled near and far for the one purpose of being together.   The week started out strong with my daily requirements and as Thursday approached I was caught up in the hustle of last minute shopping and preparing.  As usual there is always something that would prevent me in finishing what I had started, but this time was different.  I am forming the habits I need to create change in my life.  Like a mother expecting, all the changes that we go through, we know it is for a wonderful gift we will receive.  Things are really stating to come together and I am noticing so many subtle changes in myself everyday.  I greet each day and each person with love in my heart.

MKE Week 8

Digging In

It is hard to believe we are in our 8th week with #MasterKeyExperience and Thanksgiving is upon us.  Thanksgiving has always been a favorite time of year for me.  It’s all about family and being together.  With all of the planning, cleaning, and the everyday “stuff” I noticed my past self wanting to show up.  Thinking that everything BUT what I knew I should be doing was more important.  All the little things that add up to practically nothing at the end of the day.  Instead of being hard on myself, I celebrate that I am aware!  Like my shamrock plant that was a gift from the florist, I have to pay close attention to it. It is so delicate, likes only a certain spot and just enough to drink.  It’s very obvious on the weeks I neglect it, and also when loving care has been given.

“Objects in the material world are as clay in the potter’s hand: It is in the Master Mind that the real things are created, and it is by the use of imagination that the real work is done.  In order to cultivate the imagination it must be exercised. Exercise is necessary to cultivate mental muscle.  It must be supplied with nourishment or it cannot grow.” Hannel
